VCA Team

Corporate Officers

Albert J. Berlin, CEO

Al founded Video Corporation of America in 1972, a decade after serving his country as a helicopter pilot and working in manufacturing and operational roles with several Fortune 500 corporations. Under his leadership, VCA has grown from a three-person organization into an award-winning firm with over 100 employees in 3 locations. Al can be credited with establishing a foundation which continues to guide the company today. This foundation of hard work, open and honest dealing with clients, vendors, and employees is the core of VCA.

David M. Berlin, President

Combining his degrees in accounting and computer science with his experience working with the first generation of personal computers at Johnson & Johnson, Dave joined the VCA team in 1987. This unique set of combined experiences and skills set the stage for VCA’s pioneering role in open-platform computing for both the professional video and presentation markets. These early technologies were the underpinnings of the video conferencing and streaming markets for which VCA is well known today.  Dave’s passion for building cutting edge solutions that can be relied on has kept the company at the forefront of the market over the past two decades.

Craig Tepke, Vice President of Operations

Craig joined the VCA engineering department in 1997 and is credited with helping to build a world class engineering and installation services group. As Vice President of Operations, Craig is responsible for the design, engineering, and project management of all A/V, conferencing, post, and broadcast systems including our IP solutions. Craig and his team take great pride in designing and building systems that are serviceable and create a high return on our clients’ investments.

Pat Balestrieri, Vice President of Finance & Logistics

Joining VCA in 2003 as Controller, Pat is responsible for all of the accounting, finance, purchasing, and front-end operational aspects of VCA. His “get it done” approach and logistical acumen has helped VCA’s project teams achieve goals once thought unattainable. His group is the nucleus of all vendor and client financial decisions and he has continued to build on the framework established by VCA’s founder.

Chuck Heuer, Vice President of Special Projects & IT

Providing leadership and oversight to the way in which VCA delivers systems, Chuck joined the VCA team in 2001 as part of our systems integration team. Under his leadership, VCA has deployed both internal and external technologies, processes, and controls to ensure VCA delivers custom solutions of constant quality across diverse technologies and geographies. Through these streamlined systems and processes, VCA has been able to maintain a competitive edge for its clients and provide intricate systems one time and in budget.
